I have a Elicit Fire 8 and I have no idea how to root it. I've read all about it but no boot loader has worked, and I'm not competent enough to do anything with Linux.

I bought several older models a some years agone, rooted and installed stock Android on them. They went from barely usable to actually serviceable. Yet though they're very low-spec, you fire buy a gaudy wall mount that turns them into really great domicile automation devices.
